Details is an instrumental Post Rock band based in Essex, UK.

Formed in 2024 by guitarists Nick Dawson and James Green, bassist James Beddow and drummer Ross Wallman. The band are heavily influenced by artists such as We Lost The Sea, This Will Destroy You, Mogwai and Slint. Each member brings a very different perspective to the mix, with rich and diverse back stories in the vibrant alt rock, post hardcore and experimental noise scenes of Essex and London.

During 2025 Details spent most of their time rehearsing and recording two EPs. The first was the 5 track ‘From The Backroom’ released in July, written to set out the band’s intention to deliver intricately crafted, hypnotic sonic explosions. The second EP ‘Size’ dropped in December 2025 and built upon the first with the delicate lullaby of ‘Dinosaur Jacket’ nestling between two sprawling tectonic plates of psychedelic exploration.

The band finished 2025 with two live performances; their debut at the Fickle Pickle Southend followed by Bay Days festival at Radio City Social in Chelmsford, alongside In a House of Heartbeats and Dimscua. Both shows were very well received and led to a series of bookings for 2026. The band have also been gigging in the south east area quickly establishing a reputation for an immersive and uncompromising live show.
